So you need a dessert to bring to a baby shower? I don't follow...but here are some suggestions: Fruit tartlets are always a winner, weather it's lemon cream, vanilla pastry cream, chocolate pastry cream, etc. A platter of eclairs, french macarons, and cream puffs. Ricotta cheesecake with port cherry sauce..mmm, I think I'm going to do that!
This is for clementines, now out of season, but I've also made it with a couple bags of frozen cherries (just thaw them in your sink before adding to the batter).
