NFR: My GR Problem

Soo... I'm super excited. I get to jet off early from work tomorrow, hop on a plane, and trip on down to Charlottesville, VA, where my sister is currently working towards her Ph.D. in History. Not only that, my dad is driving down from IN to join in on the fun! A three day weekend, full of family bonding (minus Mom, who can't get off work - boo) and...

RUNNING!

That's right, my sister, dad, and I promised each other about 8 months ago that we'd run a half marathon together this spring. The Charlottesville half sounded perfect - it even starts about a block from my sister's apartment! Well, except for that pesky injury I sustained about 6 months ago... Due to extended physical therapy and rehab, I will only be able to run ~6 miles with them (I'm sneaking onto the course around mile 7 and running them in). Buuut, it's a three day weekend with them! I get to run with them, eat with them, walk around Charlottesville with them. Yay!

Oh, and that GR problem? Yeah, I don't wanna know how many things I'll have to catch up on in my Google Reader when I get done with my three days away from the computer. Seriously, who decided that 145 subscriptions was a good idea?

Oh. Right. That'd be me. Oops...

Cheers, and happy baking!

Thanks for the comment about the pumpkin muffins- they were delish! Funny coincidence- I am running a half marathon on Saturday. I just had to laugh when I looked at your blog and noticed I am not the only crazy person that loves to bake and run! Good Luck!

The half was great. It was really fun but next time I have to do a little more mental prep because even though I was prepared physically I hit a wall. How was your run?
